On November 12, the American University of Armenia shall host the third graduation event of the Startup School business education program, called Demo Day Fall 2022. 10 startup teams, formed during the eight-month-long educational journey, shall present their innovative ideas to professionals and representatives of the startup ecosystem.
During two years of its activity, Startup School has had about 300 participants discovering the secrets of personal development, generating ideas with the help of the design thinking methodology, evaluating them, as well as getting acquainted with the concepts of a business model and strategy. Startup School Demo Day Fall 2022 will be held competitively and shall include startup pitches, short Q&A sessions, networking opportunities, as well as a small awards ceremony.
“The success of Startup School alumni proves the importance of modern and interactive educational solutions in the lives of young people. Our objective still remains to be a stimulus for their further personal and professional development”- Startup Armenia Foundation CEO Arsen Harutyunyan noted on this occasion.
Nejdeh Hovannesyan, Assistant Director of Entrepreneurship and Product Innovation Center (EPIC), also suggested – “Startup School is one of the rare programs formed in the Armenian ecosystem in recent years, which does not fail to surprise the expert listener with its brilliant results every time. Thanks to this program, young people learn to replace the consumerist approach with creative thinking and innovative value creation”.
Startup School Demo Day Fall 2022 shall take place on November 12, 2022 at 4 PM at AUA, Manoogian Hall. The event shall host representatives of the local startup ecosystem and various
organizations, parents and future participants.
