ARARATBANK open joint stock company and “4090 Charity” Foundation join hands for the higher education of war participants.

In the run-up to the International Students’ Day, Symphonic Mansuryan Charity Concert will be held in Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on November 16. The concert will be organized under the major sponsorship of AraratBank, with the participation of the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra.

The orchestra will perform pieces by maestro Tigran Mansuryan, which will be accompanied by episodes from Armenfilm films.

Mher Ananyan, Chairman of the Executive Board of AraratBank, believes that education can make a difference in the quality of life of defenders of our Homeland and expresses commitment to sharing values and standing by 4090 Charity Foundation.

“Symphonic Mansuryan Concert is our wrap-up and the most anticipated event of the year, which is another opportunity to encourage our countrymen who participated in the war as well as a good chance for all of us not only to contribute to covering a portion of tuition fees of our beneficiaries for 2022-2023 academic year, but also to revel in the unparalleled music of the maestro, performed by our good partner – Armenian State Symphony Orchestra. And we are happy that there are socially responsible companies in Armenia, such as AraratBank, that value education and the soldier’s feat of arms,” said Irina Pahlevanyan, Executive Director of the Foundation.

“Each social program we implement is underpinned by an idea which gives rise to initiatives that otherwise might not occur. We are pleased to have our modest contribution in the implementation of this unique initiative in favor of the wellbeing of the nation. As a matter of fact, each minute, hour and day of our life counts when it comes to learning and teaching for the sake of a knowledge-driven and hence a powerful state,” said Anna Allahverdyan, PR Advisor to CEO of AraratBank.

4090 Charity Foundation was established after the third Artsakh war, seeking to provide education opportunities to participants of the wars of 2016 and 2020, who, despite different constraints, go after their dreams to become active agents in shaping the future of our homeland. Currently, the Foundation has 60 student beneficiaries studying in higher or secondary vocational education institutions. The Foundation is void of political, religious or trade union membership motives and is not affiliated with any political movement and so far has been mainly funded by individual benefactors.
