Central Bank of Armenia: Exchange Rates and Gold Prices – 01/09/24

The Central Bank of Armenia informs “Business 24” that the exchange rates of the Armenian dram set by the bank on January 9 have changed as follows. The exchange rate of the US Dollar (USD) increased by 0.38 drams and amounted to 405.61 drams, while the exchange rate of the Russian Ruble (RUR) increased by 0.05 drams and amounted to 4.51 drams.

At the same time, the exchange rate of the Euro (EUR) increased by 0.05 drams and amounted to 443.49 drams. The Swiss Franc (CHF) exchange rate increased by 0.05 drams and amounted to 476.57 drams, while the exchange rate of the British Pound (GBP) increased by 1.09 drams and amounted to 515.98 drams.

The exchange rate of the Georgian Lari (GEL) increased by 0.15 drams and amounted to 151.21 drams. The Iranian Rial (IRR) exchange rate increased by 0.01 drams and amounted to 0.97 drams for 100 Rials. The Indian Rupee (INR) exchange rate did not change and remained at 4.88 drams. The UAE Dirham (AED) exchange rate increased by 0.11 drams and amounted to 110.44 drams.

The Chinese Yuan (CNY) exchange rate increased by 0.02 drams and amounted to 56.62 drams. The Japanese Yen (JPY) exchange rate increased by 0.09 drams and amounted to 28.15 drams. The Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) exchange rate decreased by 0.01 drams and amounted to 51.90 drams.

The Kazakhstani Tenge (KZT) exchange rate decreased by 0.01 drams and amounted to 8.92 drams for 10 Tenge. The Kyrgyzstani Som (KGS) exchange rate did not change and again amounted to 4.55 drams. The Belarusian Ruble (BYN) exchange rate increased by 0.24 drams and amounted to 126.93 drams.

Regarding precious metals, the bank has set the following prices. The price of Gold (XAU) decreased by 382.39 drams and amounted to 26,408.65 drams, while the price of Silver (XAG) decreased by 1.48 drams and amounted to 297.91 drams.
