BANA Day. Exploring angel investing potential and opportunities
On June 9, on the occasion of its 6th anniversary, BANA Angels hosted a special event, BANA Day, with the aim of unveiling the impact and value of angel investing.
At the beginning of the event, Sona Veziryan, Director at BANA Angels, delivered an introductory presentation about angel investing, providing an overview of the angel investing landscape, highlighting its importance in fostering innovation and supporting promising early-stage startups.
The introductory presentation was followed by an experience sharing session with Thomas Mazejian, CIO at Viva-MTS, entrepreneur, angel investor, and PMI Armenia Founder and Past-President. As an experienced investor, Mr. Mazejian talked about his journey to becoming an angel investor and gave valuable advice for angels-to-be.
Afterwards, Aksel Piran, Co-Founder and Syndicate Leader at The Syndicate by BANA, Founder at CP3 Ventures, and Phillip Ammerman, Managing Director at Navigator Consulting Group, investment consultant, and angel investor, shared their expertise at a fireside chat dedicated to the challenges of the investing scene and tech ecosystem. Speakers explored topics such as market trends, emerging technologies, investment strategies, and the importance of building strong networks in the tech ecosystem. The discussion was moderated by Sona Veziryan.
In the final part of the event, three startups (AllClean, ReEducate, and Stylebit) pitched their ideas to guests and investors.
