STELLAR ENERGY LLC Launches Industrial-Scale Solar Power Plant in Armenia’s Lori Province
Investment in Green Energy Marks Major Milestone for Armenia’s Sustainable Future
STELLAR ENERGY LLC is proud to announce the launch of its industrial-scale solar power plant, “PERI,” located in Lori province. The project marks a continued commitment to advancing Armenia’s renewable energy capabilities and sustainable future. The official opening ceremony took place on October 30th, with shareholders and partners gathered to celebrate this important achievement.
The project, which began a year ago, was primarily financed by ARMSWISSBANK, a longstanding advocate for Armenia’s transition towards sustainable energy. The “PERI” solar power plant boasts an impressive capacity of 2,440 kW, capable of generating up to 4.0 million kWh of clean energy annually. This renewable energy production will play a significant role in reducing Armenia’s carbon emissions, saving an estimated 1,810 tons of CO2 emissions each year.
“This project is another successful step in our strategic investment journey to support Armenia’s green and sustainable economy,” said Mr. Karen Ghazaryan and Mr. Levon Arkelaťyan, co-initiators and supporters of the project. “We are proud to have ARMSWISSBANK as the principal financial partner for this solar initiative and look forward to further collaborations that will drive Armenia’s energy sector forward. We are confident this project will have a long-term, positive impact on Armenia’s renewable energy development.”
Ms. Marina Tunyan, shareholder and director of STELLAR ENERGY LLC, added, “The construction of the STELLAR ENERGY solar power plant is an essential step towards enhancing our country’s energy security. By generating more clean energy, we can reduce our dependence on traditional and external energy sources, ultimately contributing to Armenia’s green economic growth.”
STELLAR ENERGY LLC remains committed to investing in green energy projects that promote sustainability, energy security, and a cleaner future for Armenia.
