Viva alongside cinema: important steps towards the development and promotion of Armenian cinematography and film content
Cinema is one of the most captivating and beautiful forms of art. That’s why Viva has supported various film initiatives and platforms since its foundation. This year, the company supported two important film projects: the prestigious Armenian film festival “Golden Apricot”, as well as the participation of “Kinodaran” in the Cannes International Film Festival’s film market.

The “Golden Apricot” Yerevan International Film Festival has become a vital platform for meetings, idea exchange, and showcasing new films in Armenia, which makes our country an important hub for international cooperation and cultural dialogue.
As for “Kinodaran”, Viva’s support stems from the understanding of the need to promote Armenian film content both in Armenian markets and abroad. By providing the necessary resources for this project, Viva aims to help monetize Armenian film production beyond Armenia’s borders. We hope Kinodaran’s participation in the Cannes Film Festival will increase interest in Armenian cinema and help it find its rightful place on the global film stage. Viva has been the general partner of the “Golden Apricot” for the 14th year; and “Kinodaran” participated in the Cannes Film Festival’s film market for the first time.
Representatives from the Cannes Film Festival Film Market met with more than 70 international companies and industry representatives to explore opportunities for exporting Kinodaran’s films and series.
It’s worth mentioning that the rich content of “Kinodaran” is available without a subscription fee exclusively to Viva subscribers.
