Extending Holiday Care to Border Communities: AraratBank’s Gifts Reach 400 Children
AraratBank employees, along with Executive Board and Board members, have united in a heartwarming New Year initiative to prepare gifts for 400 children living in the border villages of Syunik region. The initiative was implemented in cooperation with “Bari Mama” NGO, which helped to deliver letters from border village children to bank employees.
Employees from both the Head Office and branches personally selected, purchased, and wrapped the gifts. The presents are now en route to nine border villages in Syunik region: Khoznavar, Shurnukh, Vorotan, Karashen, Kornidzor, Bardzravan, Aravus, Khndzoresk, and Khnatsakh.
Special attention has been given to kindergartens in Khoznavar and Khnatsakh villages. Educational supplies, toys, and developmental games have been sent for 22 young children to use in their kindergarten facilities.
“Our employees’ direct involvement in this initiative demonstrates that corporate social responsibility is not just a strategic direction for us, but a genuine commitment. We particularly emphasize attention to children in border communities, and we hope our small gifts will help create a festive mood,” noted Anna Alaverdyan, the Advisor on Public Relations to the Executive Director of AraratBank.
This initiative is part of AraratBank’s corporate social responsibility programs.
