Ucom Completes the Deployment of its 5G Network Across All Cities of Armenia
5G coverage is now a reality throughout Armenia. Ucom has completed the nationwide rollout of next-generation connectivity, making it available in 48 cities, hundreds of rural communities, at Myler Mountain Resort, along the Yerevan–Dilijan highway, and at the Bagratashen, Bavra, and Agarak border crossing points. Today, more than 94% of Armenia’s population has access to fast and reliable mobile internet, becoming part of the wider digital world.
Launched in November 2024, the project enabled Ucom to make 5G available in all major settlements of the country in just one year.
“Expanding 5G for us is not merely a technological achievement, but a crucial step toward providing modern, fast, and stable connectivity for people across Armenia. We delivered on our promise: in just one year, we ensured 5G coverage for more than 94% of the population, turning it into a truly nationawide technological project. Upgrading infrastructure and introducing innovative solutions will remain among our top priorities. We believe that reliable and fast internet opens up new opportunities in education, work, healthcare, and business,” said Ralph Yirikian, General Director at Ucom.
Ucom’s continuous investment in network modernization ensures that subscribers benefit from faster speeds and a stable, internationally compliant connection. 5G technology ushers in a new stage of digital life, enabling high-quality video calls for work and study, real-time transfer of large data volumes, and seamless use of next-generation smart solutions.
