Ինչպես Չինաստանը շրջանցեց ԱՄՆ-ին համաշխարհային առևտրում (2000-2024թթ․)
Թրամփի վարչակազմի մաքսատուրքերը գլոբալ բանավեճ են առաջացրել համաշխարհային տնտեսության պոտենցիալ վերափոխման մասին, երբ երկրները դիտարկում են Միացյալ Նահանգներից դուրս առևտրային կապերի դիվերսիֆիկացման հարցը:
Սպիտակ տան կողմից հայտարարված միջոցառումներն ուղղված են մի քանի երկրների դեմ, որոնցից գլխավորը Չինաստանն է։ Նախագահ Թրամփը խոստացել է բարձրացնել Չինաստանի նկատմամբ մաքսատուրքերը ևս 50%-ով, եթե երկիրը չչեղարկի իր 34% պատասխան մաքսատուրքերը, որոնք սահմանվել են ի պատասխան ամերիկյան մաքսատուրքերի։
Այս վիզուալիզացիայի մեջ ստեղծող Էհսան Սոլթանին ուսումնասիրում է վերջին երկու տասնամյակների ընթացքում Միացյալ Նահանգների և Չինաստանի միջև համաշխարհային առևտրի փոփոխվող գերակայությունը: Տվյալները ստացվել են ԱՄՆ մարդահամարի բյուրոյից և Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական Հանրապետության մաքսային գլխավոր վարչությունից:
Չինաստանի առևտրի աճը ժամանակի ընթացքում
2000 թվականին ԱՄՆ-ի առևտրի ծավալը կազմում էր 2 տրիլիոն դոլար, ինչը չորս անգամ գերազանցում է Չինաստանի 474 միլիարդ դոլարը: Այդ ժամանակ Չինաստանը խոշոր առևտրային գործընկեր էր միայն մի քանի երկրների համար, ներառյալ Կուբան, Իրանը, Լիբիան, Մյանմարը, Մոնղոլիան, Հյուսիսային Կորեան, Օմանը, Սուդանը, Տանզանիան և Վիետնամը:
2000-2024 թվականներին ԱՄՆ-ի առևտուրն աճել է 167%-ով (համակցված տարեկան աճի տեմպը՝ 4.2%), մինչդեռ Չինաստանի առևտուրն աճել է 1200%-ով (տարեկան համակցված աճը՝ 11.3%)՝ առաջ անցնելով ԱՄՆ-ից 2012թ.-ին:

Չինաստանը ներկայումս գերիշխող առևտրային գործընկերն է Ասիայի, Արևելյան Եվրոպայի, Մերձավոր Արևելքի, Օվկիանիայի, Հարավային Ամերիկայի և Աֆրիկայի երկրների մեծ մասի համար:
Ակնկալվում է, որ Չինաստանը կշարունակի խորացնել իր հարաբերությունները զարգացող շուկաների հետ՝ ներկրելով վառելիք, հանքային և գյուղատնտեսական ապրանքներ և արտահանելով արտադրված ապրանքներ:
